Martin Lopez, co-owner of JM Roofing and Construction, brings over 21 years of invaluable hands-on experience to every project.

His journey in the roofing and construction industry began as a laborer, where he developed a deep understanding of every aspect of the trade.

This foundational experience propelled him through the ranks, eventually leading him to become a Vice President of a company before co-founding JM Roofing in September 2012.

Martin’s expertise is rooted in practical, on-site involvement. He remains consistently present throughout projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficient problem-solving. His extensive knowledge spans various roofing systems, including shingle asphalt, TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin), metal roofing, and protective coatings.

Beyond roofing, Martin possesses a broad skill set that includes cement work (landscaping), flooring installation, pergola construction, landscaping, exterior painting, and interior painting.

A memorable instance involved a TPO roofing project at a military base, where an unexpected downpour mid-installation led to significant leaks. Martin’s swift action in managing the aftermath—drying affected areas and replacing damaged sheetrock—ensured the project remained on track and damage was fully repaired. His ability to stay organized, prioritize safety, and apply his comprehensive hands-on knowledge on-site consistently delivers successful outcomes.
